Edward Kus

Edward Kus, Chief Operating Officer and Director at Frontier Impact Group, joined Frontier Impact Group in April 2021. Ed brings a deep understanding of all aspects of business operations with a particular focus on major projects and finance, legal, governance, and risk management, and is passionate about being part of shaping how the world’s biggest emitters transition to net-zero carbon as quickly and safely as possible.

Ed graduated from the Australian National University with degrees in law (with honours) and Asia-Pacific Studies (majoring in Chinese), and is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). He has served on various NFP boards and is business-fluent in Mandarin having previously worked and studied in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Before joining Frontier Ed spent several years as a senior lawyer at the Australian Football League working across all aspects of the AFL business including on the AFL's most significant major projects and complex commercial transactions such as the Marvel Stadium upgrade and recent media and broadcast deals. He was also an integral part of the AFL's efforts to complete the 2020 AFL season during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to his role at the AFL Ed worked for several years in the Projects and Finance team at international law firm DLA Piper where his work focused on major projects, particularly in the infrastructure, renewables and transport sectors.
