Shawn Butters
Shawn Butters joined Frontier Impact Group as an associate in May 2021. He has been managing regenerative agriculture funds for 17 years and has founded separate investment funds including Kilter Rural and Tiverton Agricultural Impact Fund. Regenerative agriculture and landscape renewal has been a theme of Shawn's work over that time. During his time at Kilter Rural Shawn also established a water fund.
Shawn's work at Kilter and Tiverton was the culmination of a 37-year career spanning the private, public and community sectors. In addition to his work in the investment sector, Shawn has focused on other parts of agriculture including research and development, project management, risk management, process development, community and industry engagement, primary production, ecosystem services, processing and distribution.
